Why You Should Seriously Consider Becoming a California Certified Medi-Cal Peer Support Specialist

Today, many governmental, health care, and community-based organizations are seeking the assistance of Peer Support Specialists. The statewide certification of Medi-Cal Peer Support Specialists will allow these organizations to find a new way to pay for the needed services of Peer Support Specialists. Most organizations have not even been able to enlist the services of Peer Support Specialists because they couldn’t find a way to pay for it. Now, Certified Medi-Cal Peer Support Specialists can be charged directly to Medi-Cal. This is going to increase the demand for Certified Medi-Cal Peer Support Specialists across many governmental, health care, and community-based organizations around the state.

Parents Anonymous® Medi-Cal Peer Support Specialist Certification Training will give you what you need to successfully understand your role and responsibilities, as well as what you need to pass the Certification Examination administered by the state. The training is delivered through Zoom. So, you can complete it at home on the sofa or at work at your desk. REGISTER HERE
